Tuition fees 2012/2013 and the requirements to be met are set out in the table below.

The mentioned amounts and the conditions may be subject to change depending on Dutch legislation and Wageningen University policies.

Note 2: Exemption of tuition fees
Students who are registered as a student at another Dutch University or school of Higher Education for a CROHO registered programme and pay the Statutory tuition fee, may be exempted from paying tuition fees when registering as a student at Wageningen University for a second programme. They should submit an original ¡®Proof of Payment of Tuition Fees 2012/2013¡¯ (BBC) when registering as a student at Wageningen University.
Students who are not eligible for the Statutory tuition fee at Wageningen University will not be eligible for exemption of tuition fees.

Note 3: Registration under a partnership agreement
Some students are entitled for special rates if their organisation has signed an agreement with Wageningen University.

Note 4: Regulations concerning students who have a study delay ('Langstuderen')
Legislation has passed the Dutch parliament in July 2011, which affects students who are entitled to the statutory tution fee but who do not finish their study programme ¡®in time¡¯. In time means within the nominal duration of the study programme + 1 year.

As of 2012-2013, a student who studies ¡®too long¡¯ will have to pay the raised statutory tuition fee of € 4834,-.

Determination of the Temporary Tuition Fee and the Definite Tuition Fee with regard to the address requirement
For students, who meet the nationality requirement and the degree requirement when submitting their request for enrolment, the tuition fee will be temporarily determined at € 1771. Wageningen University assumes that these students will meet the address requirement at the start of their study.

Wageningen University will check in the beginning of October 2012 if all requirements related to the statutory tuition fee are still met and will then determine the definite tuition fee to be paid by the student. If necessary, the University will request proof of where the student lives.
When students then do not meet the address or degree requirement, Wageningen University will impose a higher institutional fee (9240 euro). The difference between statutory tuition fee and institutional fee 2 will subsequently have to be paid.
If the required tuition fee is not paid, the enrolment will be cancelled according to the ¡®Regulations for Enrolment 2012/2013¡¯.
